Renee Wah is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, having started in August 2024. Prior to this, Renee held various roles at BallotReady from July 2019 to September 2024, including Associate Product Manager, Software Engineer, Solutions Coordinator, and Electoral Fellow. Additional experience includes serving as a Communications and Arts Partnership Intern for the UChicago Community Service Center, a Real Estate Economics Intern at AECOM, and a Center for Youth Justice Intern at the Vera Institute of Justice. Renee also interned with the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce and the Office of the City Treasurer in Chicago and taught classes as an Instructor at Fairfax Collegiate. Renee earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy & Geography from the University of Chicago from 2016 to 2019 and spent a year at Mount Holyoke College in 2015-2016.
