Vaibhav Tyagi is currently a Junior Research Fellow (UGC-NET) and Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, where responsibilities include teaching Remote Sensing for Atmospheric and Space Sciences and participating in the Oceansat3 Utilization Plan SAC-ISRO at SIGMA Research Lab. Additional roles include serving as Webmaster for the IEEE GRSS Student Branch Chapter at IIT Indore and Secretary for the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section GRSS Chapter. Vaibhav Tyagi has also contributed to education as a Blogger, providing handwritten notes for Physics, and as a Tutor for NEET/JEE Physics and Mathematics. As a Visiting Research Scholar at Colorado State University in July to September 2024, Vaibhav Tyagi will continue to advance academic and research endeavors. Previous experience includes an internship with the FOSSEE project at IIT Bombay and a Junior Teaching Assistant role at IIT Palakkad. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy Astrophysics and Space Engineering from IIT Indore and a Masterās in Physics from IIT Palakkad.
