Ibiyemi Akinkuade has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. They started their career in 2005 as an HR/Recruitment Assistant at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Here, they provided recruitment services, coordinated recruitment activities, and produced reports for the Trust Board. In 2006, they worked as an HR Administrator at King's College London. Later, in 2010, they joined the University of Greenwich as an HR Administrative Officer and were responsible for managing the recruitment process and providing support throughout the employee life cycle. Throughout the years, they took on various roles including Reward & Wellbeing, Reward and Benefits Officer, Senior HR Recruitment Officer, Senior HR Reward Officer, and HR Reward & Resourcing Manager. Currently, they are the Head of People Operations at the University of Greenwich, where they develop and lead the operational HR service and contribute to the delivery of key priorities in the People Enabling Strategy.
Ibiyemi Akinkuade completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive MBA from the University of Greenwich from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attained a MA in Personnel & Development (CIPD Accredited) from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2013. Akinkuade also holds a Certificate in Personnel Practice from Westminster Kingsway College, obtained in 2008-2009, and a BSc in Public Service Management from City, University of London, completed from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Akinkuade has recently obtained a certification in Project Management Foundations: Requirements from LinkedIn in 2022.
