Tom Skill possesses extensive experience in academia and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Associate Provost for Strategic Initiatives & Planning and Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Dayton since August 1984, Tom Skill has also held the role of Associate Provost & Chief Information Officer within the same institution. Additionally, Tom Skill contributed as a Board Member for Technology First from January 2004 until July 2024. Tom Skill's educational background includes a BA, MA, and PhD in Mass Communication from the University at Buffalo, completed between 1973 and 1984, alongside an early education at Bishop Neumann High School.
