Maureen Moroney Beal serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Operations at the University of Pittsburgh, a position held since 1998, with responsibilities encompassing service delivery leadership, local and diverse supplier development, strategic sourcing, purchasing services, supply chain resilience, and various financial operations including payroll and accounts payable. Maureen has also led business software projects such as Oracle Financials and Salesforce, and has prior experience in internal audits at the University from 1990 to 1992, as well as a consulting role at PwC focusing on financial and IT auditing for various industries. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Systems Analyst/Programmer at Limbach Inc., where accounting and management systems were developed. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Robert Morris University.
