Val Vullev is a Professor of Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Materials Science & Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, where tenure began in 2006. Val served as a Fulbright US Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Universidade de São Paulo from February 2019 to September 2019. Val's academic journey includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University from 2002 to 2004. Val earned a Ph.D. in Photochemistry and Physical Organic Chemistry from Boston University between 1994 and 2000 and completed postdoctoral studies in Chemistry at Harvard University shortly thereafter.
