D'Arcy Norman, PhD, serves as the Associate Director of Learning Technologies & Design at the University of Calgary, a position held since September 2001, which follows various roles including Manager of Learning Technologies and Manager of the Technology Integration Group at the Taylor Institute. Prior to this, D'Arcy Norman worked as an IT Partner and Educational Technology Consultant at DiscoverWare, Inc. from September 1998 to March 2001, and as a Senior Programmer and Multimedia Developer at the University of Calgary from 1994 to 1998. D'Arcy Norman holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Media Design, a Master of Science in Educational Technology, a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, all obtained from the University of Calgary between 1987 and 2023.
