Yalena Sermeno is a dedicated and accomplished professional currently serving as the VP of People and Culture for JDC West since June 2024. Yalena also works as an IT Strategy and Change Co-Op Student at Nutrien, where contributions include leading the development of a new onboarding program for a sizable IT department and identifying significant savings through project budgeting. Involved in various leadership roles, Yalena serves as President of the University of Calgary Consulting Association, overseeing numerous events and initiatives while earning recognition for fostering career development. Yalena's previous experience includes roles in human resources, project management, and consulting, exemplifying a commitment to strategic development and team success. Yalena is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce at the Haskayne School of Business, expected to graduate in May 2026.
