Manyul Im is the Provost & VP, Academic Affairs at University of Bridgeport. Prior to this, they were the Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences at Fairfield University. In this role, they oversaw 16 Interdisciplinary Programs, 7-year Program Reviews, the Arts & Sciences Curriculum Committee, and the Individually Designed Major Program. Manyul also evaluated Pre-Tenure Faculty for Annual Performance Reviews, handled Student Grievance Procedures, and coordinated Curriculum Information to the University Registrar.
Before their time at Fairfield University, Manyul Im served as the Library Board of Trustees Treasurer at Fairfield Public Library. In this role, they had oversight of operational and financial well-being of the library.

Manyul Im's educational career includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley. Manyul also has a certification from the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium in Certification to Teach Distance Learning Pedagogy.
