Lukasz Piwek is a Senior Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Bath, where since February 2016, work has focused on the application of wearable consumer technology in behavior change interventions and the use of smartphones with programming frameworks for digital research methodology in psychology. Prior to this, Lukasz was a Research Fellow in Behavioural Change at the University of the West of England from January 2013 to January 2016, conducting significant empirical studies on Snapchat use and the implementation of wearables for behavior change among cyclists. Academic foundations were built through a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at the University of Glasgow from July 2007 to December 2012, which involved lecturing and supporting psychology students. Lukasz holds a PhD in Psychology and additional degrees in Research Methods of Psychological Science and Philosophy, Psychology from the University of Glasgow, alongside a Higher National Diploma in Advertising and PR from the College of Advertising.
