Hamid A. currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Neurofanos since June 2023 and is a Research Fellow at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute since March 2020. With a longstanding affiliation to The University of Auckland, where roles have included University Lecturer, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and Professional Teaching Fellow, Hamid has demonstrated significant academic involvement since 2014. Hamid led the BabyAware team, which won the Uniservices Commercialisation prize at the Spark $100k Challenge in 2014, and contributed to various engineering and management roles in the railway and cement industries earlier in the career. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Instrumentation and Industrial Automation Engineering, both from Shiraz University and The University of Auckland.
