Michael W Schneider serves as a Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts since April 2024 and has held the position of Privat Dozent and Senior Artist at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since February 2007, focusing on research, student advising, and teaching in print media and printmaking. Additionally, Michael serves as an Adjunct Professor at Webster University since 2003, where responsibilities include coordination of Studio Art and instruction in various art courses. Previously, Michael was a Guest Professor and Associate Professor at Tokyo University of the Arts from October 2015 to April 2024, supervising PhD and postgraduate programs in Printmaking. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Tokyo University of the Arts and a Magister artium in Painting and Printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
