Sagar, PhD, currently serves as a Research Group Leader at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg, focusing on quantitative single-cell biology and advanced genomic techniques. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, where Sagar specialized in systems biology and cancer biology. Sagar's earlier work as a postdoctoral fellow at Institut Pasteur involved vertebrate morphogenesis and live embryo imaging. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Biology from The University of Freiburg, a Master's in Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor's in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the same institution.
