Dr. Vidhya M. is currently the Head of Research Group at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg, focusing on 3D brain models for neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, they were a Post Doctoral Scientist at Leibniz-Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie, studying thyroid hormone transport. Their Ph.D. at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona was on membrane protein function. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Madras.
