Daniela Canu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg, focusing on eye movements in neurodevelopmental disorders. With a PhD in Psychology and Medicine from The University of Freiburg, Daniela's research has contributed to understanding the continuum of impairment in neurodevelopmental issues. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant in child and adolescent psychiatry, an Early Stage Researcher studying sensorimotor indicators of Autism Spectrum Disorders, and internships at prestigious institutions such as Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda and the University of Warwick, where Daniela worked on developmental psychopathology projects. Daniela also has experience as an ERASMUS student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, applying cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to various psychological disorders.
