Shawn Winkelman has extensive experience in information technology management, currently serving as the Manager of the Enterprise Information Technology Project Management Office and Director of Information Technology at UCAR - The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research since June 2001. Responsibilities include overseeing all IT activities in support of UCAR Operations, leading a team of 30-35 professionals in areas such as strategic planning, project management, application development, systems administration, and multimedia services. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Technology and Director of MIS at Citicorp Diners Club from 1986 to 1998. Shawn Winkelman holds a BS in Computer & Management Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver and an MA in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University.
