Meaghan Buchanan is an experienced Archivist and Access and Privacy Officer at the University College of the North since April 2010, where responsibilities include coordinating responses to FIPPA inquiries and enhancing internal privacy policies. Previous roles include working as an Archivist, Area 33 Governor for District 64 Toastmasters, and a Cataloguer at OCLC. Meaghan Buchanan has a solid educational background with a Master of Arts in History from Western University, a Certificate in Information Access and Privacy Protection from the University of Alberta, a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History from The University of Winnipeg.
