Julie G. Desjardins currently serves as the Assistant Director of Scholarship Partners Canada at Universities Canada, a position held since September 2019. Prior to this role, Julie Desjardins had a significant tenure at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada from 2004 to 2018, where responsibilities included leading the Resuscitation program and managing the development and delivery of key educational materials in collaboration with the American Heart Association. Julie Desjardins also successfully implemented a comprehensive business plan for publishing resuscitation education resources. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in Marketing and Communications at St. John Ambulance Canada and a Community Relations internship at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Educational background includes studies at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and the Schulich School of Business at York University.
