Bobby Minola Ginting currently serves as a researcher at Hiroshima University, collaborating with Prof. Tatsuhiko Uchida on the project "An Integrated High-performance Model for Simulations of Sediment Transport Under Flow-Wave-Vortex Interactions." Additionally, Ginting has held various roles at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, including assistant professor, head of the Center of Water Resources Engineering, and head of the Planning Division at the Institute for Development and Innovation. Previous experience encompasses positions as a scientific research assistant at Technische Universität München and a lecturer at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, alongside consulting work in hydrology and hydraulic engineering. Ginting's educational background includes a Dr.-Ing. in Computational Hydraulics and High Performance Computing from Technical University of Munich, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, as well as a degree in engineering from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan.
