Giulia Pesaro is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in environmental economics, sustainable development, and risk management. Currently serving as a Research Fellow and Senior Researcher at the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, as well as a Professor at the University of Geneva and Politecnico di Milano, Giulia has taught various courses ranging from macroeconomics to methods for urban and territorial systems analysis. Giulia's previous roles include project management for EU-funded initiatives, such as the CHEERS project, and senior partnership at Cooperate S.r.l, focusing on strategic planning and local development. With a strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Planning and Territorial Public Policies, Giulia has contributed significantly to the fields of sustainability and resilience through research, teaching, and consultancy since 1991.
