Emilia Alvarado Sevilla is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of the Casa de la Cultura Tungurahua in Ecuador since September 2021. With a focus on project development, Emilia has been a Project Development Coordinator at the Industrial Company of the People CIG-CIDG S.A. since March 2019, facilitating international cooperation for sustainable development. Emilia also holds the position of Coordinadora General for Zone 3 at the Ministerio de Ambiente del Ecuador since June 2017, alongside a long-standing role as a university professor at multiple institutions since January 2013. Previously, Emilia was the Zonal Director for IFAIC within the Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio del Ecuador from March 2017 to August 2019. Emilia’s educational background includes degrees in Project Management, Environmental Management, and a Master's in International Studies and Development Cooperation from prestigious institutions.
