Jorge Velasco Tudela has extensive experience in academia and business, currently serving as the Director of the University Innovation Hub and the Director of Quality Management and Innovation in Engineering at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés since 2000. In addition to teaching roles, Jorge has been an influential opinion columnist for various media outlets since 2000. Jorge holds a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development from Universidad de Salamanca and has been the President of Fundación de Emprendedores y Finanzas Maya since 2003. Jorge previously held management positions at Banco Fortaleza and Banco Bisa S.A., where responsibilities included Vice President of National Business and General Manager. Education credentials include a Licenciatura in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, a postgraduate degree in Finance, Innovation, and Banking from Kellogg Community College, and a diploma in Higher Education from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
