Gabriel Osorio Vargas is an accomplished director and educator in the field of animation, currently serving as the Director of Punkrobot Animation Studio since June 2016, where notable projects include the feature film "Brave Cat" and the short film "Little Red." In addition to directing, Gabriel has been a professor at Universidad de las Americas since March 2009, overseeing the 3D department and contributing to the curricular committee. Gabriel's previous experience includes directing the award-winning short film "Bear Story," which received over 55 international accolades, including an Oscar®, as well as directing an episode of "Star Wars Visions: In The Stars" for Lucasfilm. With a solid foundation in fine arts and graphic design, Gabriel also worked as a freelance 3D artist early in the career.
