Lara Hajjar Ayoub currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. since June 2009, providing legal expertise in the aviation sector. Prior to this role, Lara was Senior Corporate Counsel at Vinson and Elkins from September 2003 to June 2009, specializing in secured and unsecured lending transactions, particularly within the energy industry, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Lara obtained a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at El Paso. Additional educational experiences include studies at Universidad de Granada and UCL.
