Amy Stifter-Hinkel's work experience includes a variety of roles in the field of finance and auditing. Amy started their career as an Assurance Associate II at Grant Thornton LLC, where they conducted financial statement audits and reviews for various types of entities. Amy then moved on to work as an Accountant at Cronos Capital Corp., where they prepared financial statements and SEC filings for public entities. Amy later joined Sutter Delta Medical Center as a Senior Accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Amy then worked at William Beaumont Hospitals, first as a Senior Internal Auditor, conducting financial and operational audits, and later as an Audit Manager, overseeing staff and managing the annual internal and external audits. Amy then served as a Finance Manager at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, in charge of managing a team and preparing the annual hospital budget. Their most recent position was at Universal Technical Institute, where they started as an Internal Audit Manager, and then was promoted to Vice President, Internal Audit Services, responsible for directing and supervising the daily activities of the internal audit department, overseeing SOX compliance, and developing the annual engagement plan.

Amy Stifter-Hinkel received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting/Business from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs between 1997 and 1999. Amy also attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1995 to 1997, where they focused on Business. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Benicia High School. Amy Stifter-Hinkel has not obtained any additional certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant.
