Pavel Paramonov, PhD, is the Founder and Chief Science and Technology Officer at Ternary Intelligence, specializing in the integration of statistical mechanics and artificial intelligence for computational studies of financial markets and algorithmic trading since October 2014. In addition, Pavel serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Hult International Business School, teaching various courses related to analytics and risk management at both post-graduate and undergraduate levels. As the Founder and Managing Director of Multi-disciplinary Insights LLC, which has been operational since September 2010, Pavel focuses on scientific consulting and contract research. Previous roles include Founder and VP of Computational Sciences at TeraFold Biologics Inc., where a computational platform for protein therapeutics was developed, as well as visiting faculty positions at The Ohio State University and The University of Akron, and postdoctoral research at Georgia Institute of Technology. Pavel holds a PhD in Polymer Engineering and Physics, a Master’s in Physics, and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry.
