Tom Mehrmann has a vast amount of experience in the theme park industry. Tom is currently serving as the President and COO of Universal Parks and Resorts, Pacific Rim since February 2022. Prior to this role, they were the President and General Manager of Universal Beijing Resort from October 2017 to September 2022. Tom has also held executive positions in various other theme parks, including Chief Executive of Ocean Park Corporation from 2004 to 2016, Vice President and General Manager of Warner Bros. Movie World Madrid from 1999 to 2004, Vice President and General Manager of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom from 1998 to 2004, and Vice President of Park Operations and Entertainment at Knott's Berry Farm from 1977 to 1998. Tom also has experience in advisory roles, having served as an advisor to Ocean Park Corporation and as the Owner and Founder of Themed Advisors, Ltd.

Tom Mehrmann attended California State University, Fullerton from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
