Darian Hogan has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. They started their career as a Music Supervision Teaching Assistant at Brad Hatfield from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they worked as a Journalist/Social Media Coordinator and Partner at MusicSupervisionCentral/The SongHunters from 2013 to 2015. They then served as an Executive Assistant to a Music Consultant at Leslie Lewis Consulting from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they held the role of Music & Media Licensing Coordinator at Viacom. They also worked as a Copy Editor for Music Supervision; Selecting Music for Movies, TV, Games & New Media 2nd Edition, from January to June 2016. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as an Accounting Coordinator at the National Center for State Courts. They then took on the role of Licensing Consultant at Leslie Lewis Consulting from 2015 to 2020. They worked as an Associate at The Law Offices of David A. Helfant from 2020 to 2022. They also served as an Associate at Rick Meuser, Esq. from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed as the Director of Business Legal Affairs at Universal Music Group Nashville, with previous experience in the same company as Senior Director, Business & Legal Affairs.
Darian Hogan's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Berklee College of Music, where they obtained a degree in Music with a focus on Business/Management in 2009. They then pursued their undergraduate studies at Northeastern University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry with a minor in Cinema Studies. In 2012, Darian continued their education at Northeastern University, completing a Master of Science degree in Music Industry & Leadership in 2013.
Later on, Darian attended Southwestern Law School from 2018 to 2020, earning a Juris Doctor degree with a specialization in Entertainment Law. They obtained their J.D. certification from Southwestern Law School in May 2020. Subsequently, they obtained their Attorney certification from the State Bar of California in June 2021, followed by an In House Counsel certification from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee in April 2022.
