Dr. Steven Nave is a highly experienced educator currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Seoul International School since August 2020, while also working as an online social studies teacher for Universal Education since January 2017. Previous roles include history teacher at Dobyns Bennett High School from August 2017 to August 2020 and social studies teacher at The International Bilingual School at the Hsinchu Science Park from August 2015 to July 2017, where responsibilities included serving as department chair and teaching AP Human Geography and AP World History. Dr. Nave's extensive teaching career began at the Johnson County Department of Education, where social studies classes were taught from August 2000 to May 2015. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Carson-Newman University, an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science with focus areas in History, Geography, Political Science, and Geology from East Tennessee State University.
