Antonio Jesús Adsuar Gómez

Head of Bioinformatics at Universal Diagnostics

Antonio Jesús Adsuar Gómez has a long and varied work experience. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Junior Programmer at La Vega Baja Servicios Telemáticos, where they refactored an application in dBASE IV and prepared for the Year 2000, as well as implemented an office management system for Hyundai workshop. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Teacher at Col·legi Modeclar. In 2004, they began working at Col·legi Sant Miquel as a Secondary School Teacher, where they were a tutor for 1st and 2nd of ESO, and a professor of Technology, Mathematics, and Informatics. In 2005, they began working as an Associate Professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and also as a Professor at EUROAULA. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Axpe Consulting as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Project Manager, where they were responsible for developing a new Virtual Assistant Framework, e-LENNA, from scratch. Finally, from 2014 to 2018, they worked at Universal Diagnostics SL as the Head of Bioinformatics, a biotechnology start-up specialized in cancer research and development of diagnostic tools.

Antonio Jesús Adsuar Gómez's education history includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad de Sevilla, obtained between 2004 and 2022, a Grade in Multimedia from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, obtained between 2002 and 2006, and an Engineer in Computer Science from Universitat d'Alacant, obtained between 1995 and 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including a Healthcare IT Support Specialization in 2021, Executive Data Science Capstone, Executive Data Science Specialization, A Crash Course in Data Science, Building a Data Science Team, Data Science in Real Life, Managing Data Analysis, Exploratory Data Analysis, Reproducible Research, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, and Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures for Concurrent and Networked Software between 2013 and 2021.
