Lamiya Mammadova's work experience includes various HR roles in different companies. Lamiya served as the Global HR Vice President EMEA, APAC, Consumer & Industrial at Univar Solutions starting in October 2020. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at SOCAR AQS, first as the Chief Human Capital Officer (Interim), where they focused on leadership capabilities and HR transformation. Lamiya then took on the role of Chief Talent Officer, partnering with the CEO and leadership team on strategic people agenda. Prior to that, they were the Global HR Director, Executive Development at Baker Hughes, a GE company from 2017 to 2019, where they designed and implemented executive talent development processes for sustainable succession planning. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at GE Oil & Gas, first as the Global Head of Organization and Talent Development, driving productivity improvements for the Executive Leadership team. Lamiya then became the Global Talent Development Leader, overseeing leadership development programs and managing talent reviews. Before that, they worked at BP from 1995 to 2013, holding various HR roles, including Global Head of Talent, Interim HR Vice President, and HR Manager. Lamiya'sresponsibilities at BP included talent management, leadership transition, recruitment, and HR partnerships for major projects.

Lamiya Mammadova holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King's College London, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management and Development from Nottingham Trent University, from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching, London in 2016, Fellow, CIPD from THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT in 2016, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation in October 2020.
