Christopher Hammill is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Unity Health Toronto since November 2021, where the focus is on applying machine learning techniques to medical imaging data. Prior to this role, Christopher worked as a Programmer/Analyst at The Hospital for Sick Children, curating and analyzing data for the Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders project and maintaining an open-source neuroimaging software package from October 2015 to November 2021. Christopher also held roles in research and teaching, including lead bioinformatician at Memorial University of Newfoundland, supporting diabetes research, and various teaching assistantships in ecology, chemistry, and biology. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Statistical Ecology from Memorial University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Waterloo.
