Samuel Akinyele has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Samuel began their career at International Tobacco Company as a System Analyst/Programmer in 1995. Samuel then worked at various companies, including Stanoz Computer as a Software Developer/Trainer, Swintec Nig. Ltd as a Consultant on Process Automation & Network Implementation, E-Waken Nig. Ltd as a Software Developer, The Workshop Limited as Head of Software & Business Development, SocketWorks Nig. Ltd as a Software Developer, BackLink Technology Solutions as Head of Software Development & Network Implementation, Oceanic Bank Int. PLC as a System/Application Developer, UBA as Head of E-Sales Manager (West), and Unity Bank Plc as Head of System Automation, Integration & Development and Team Lead in the Business Support Department. Throughout their career, Samuel has been involved in a wide range of projects, including developing financial systems, implementing network infrastructures, and leading teams in automation and integration projects.

Samuel Akinyele holds an MCS degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, studying from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, Samuel obtained a ND degree in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic, Offa, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Samuel has also acquired various certifications in web development, secure coding, Android app development, IoT, and C#.
