Yen-Chia Chu has worked in the electrical engineering field since 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Research and Development Engineer and General Manager at National Cheng Kung University. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Researcher at TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. During this time, they led a 5-person group from Kun Shan University and provided technical help and training for digital IC design and tape-out, Verilog RTL coding, and stability analysis of brushless DC motor. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer at Four Dimensions, Inc. During this time, they were a Team Leader and Technical Advisor at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Yen-Chia developed 3 chips for wireless charging/powering medical devices, and developed the Matlab/Simulink model for pipeline controlled AC and DC power supplies. Yen-Chia is currently employed as a Senior Electrical Engineer at UnitX.
Yen-Chia Chu earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university between 2006 and 2008. In 2011, they went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrics and Computer Engineering from New York University, which they completed in 2017.
