Gareth Owen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and corporate finance within the mining and metals recovery sectors. Currently serving as Business Development Manager for Unitrans Africa since August 2021, Gareth is responsible for designing and implementing supply chain solutions in sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Gareth held the position of Commercial and Business Development Manager at Jubilee Platinum, focusing on the reprocessing of historical mine materials. Prior roles include Corporate Finance and Special Opportunities at Sasfin Bank Ltd, where expertise in investment banking services was demonstrated, and Financial Analyst at Xigo (Pty) Ltd, where skills in financial forecasting and valuation were developed. Gareth holds an MBA from Stellenbosch Business School, completed in 2021.
