Christina-Mai Takahashi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as the Chief Equity Officer at United Way of Salt Lake since August 2021. Before that, they worked at the University of Utah Health as the Associate Director, overseeing marketing, communications, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives for the School of Dentistry and its clinics from February 2020 to July 2021.

Continuing their education, Christina-Mai pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Policy & Administration at Northwestern University, attending from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they also obtained a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Marketing & Customer Insight from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Furthermore, they have pursued various executive education programs to enhance their knowledge in areas such as Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2019. Christina-Mai also completed Diversity & Inclusion Leadership programs at Cornell University ILR School, earning certificates in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
