Lynn Corwin is the current Executive Advisor for Strategic Initiatives at United Way of Rhode Island. Lynn has been with United Way since May of 1990 and has held the position of Vice President, Director of HR and Organizational Effectiveness since December of 2015. In this role, Lynn partners with the CEO on Strategic Planning and Board Governance and Nominating for the organization. Lynn also plans and facilitates board development and board retreats during the year. Lynn provides one-on-one coaching for senior management and other managers/staff as necessary. Additionally, they manage all aspects of Human Resources including policies, benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruiting, retention, and HR strategic planning. Lynn is also a member of the Senior Management Team.

Lynn Corwin has an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Human Resources from CCRI, a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from College Unbound, and an HR Certificate from Bryant University. Lynn is certified by SHRM as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and by the HR Certification Institute as a PHR.
