Lori Nerheim's work experience includes serving as the VP of Marketing and Communications for the United Way of Lake County since 2019. Lori has also worked as a Consultant since 2011, where they managed winning political campaigns and communications for countywide races. Additionally, they served as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Waukegan Arts Council from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they held various roles at Hewitt Associates, including Partner and Global Business Leader for Total Rewards Point Solutions. In this role, they led global development teams, managed sales and marketing strategies, and oversaw communication projects for top organizations.

Lori Nerheim obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Lake Forest College between the years 1978 and 1982. Additionally, they pursued minors in Studio Art and Business during their academic tenure.
