Financial executive with broad experience in all aspects of accounting, auditing, business planning, and financial management, Paolo originates, manages, and exits venture capital deals since 1998.

Before co-founding United Ventures, he was the founder and general partner of Jupiter Venture, one of the top quartile VC funds in Europe with a 6x return on the portfolio and over 20% of IRR.

Paolo soon realized the disruptive potential of technology applied to the financial services industry and lead a number of deals that contributed to shape the Italian fintech landscape, such as MutuiOnline, Objectway, OnlineSIM and Moneyfarm.

His track record also includes the investments in Musixmatch, BOOM, brumbrum, Credimi, Equalum, and Fiscozen.

His mission at United Ventures is to spot and promote disruptive innovations in the Italian technology industry, turning them into international businesses through a proactive investment process.

Paolo graduated in Economics from the University of Turin and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1999. He has been an academic fellow at Milan Politecnico and lecturer at MIP and Bocconi University on venture capital and entrepreneurship.

When he is not busy scouting the next big thing in tech investing, he loves to spend quality time with his family and sail the waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
