Lisa D. Frazier has worked in various event planning roles throughout their career. Lisa D. started as a Special Events Planner at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in 2002, and later became a Special Events Program Coordinator at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities in 2005. In 2006, they joined the Library of Congress as a Special Events Planner in the Office of the Librarian. Their most recent position was as the Director of Conferences, Meetings, and Events at the United States Institute of Peace, a role they have held since 2010.
