Deputy Branch Chief (j332), Current Operations (j33) at United States Cyber Command

Tony W. has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. Tony currently holds the position of Deputy Branch Chief in Current Operations at the United States Cyber Command. Prior to that, they worked at Vencore Inc. as a Senior Cyber Vulnerability Management from 2016 to 2018.

Before joining Vencore Inc., Tony W. served as a Cyber Assurance Vulnerability Management Analyst Team Lead at Northrop Grumman, Information Systems from 2015 to 2016. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Northrop Grumman Information Systems as a Cyber Incident Analyst in Dynamic Network Defense Operations.

Tony W. started their career in 2010 at U.S. CYBERCOMMAND as a Global Information Grid Mission LEAD. Before that, they worked as a SATCOM Training Manager at Pope AFB, NC from 2006 to 2010.

Tony W. has a diverse education history. Tony attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Information Technology Management. In 2008, they attended the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy at Gunter AFB, Alabama, although no degree was mentioned for this program. In 2001, Tony attended Keesler AFB in Mississippi, where they earned a degree in E3ACR3C171 Radio Communications Systems Craftsman, focusing on Communications Technology/Technician. Later, in 2016, Tony enrolled in the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Cyber Security Policy & Management. Additionally, Tony obtained the CompTia Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification from CompTIA in August 2017.
