J.c. Sylvan

Chief, National Security Law at United States Cyber Command

J.C. Sylvan has extensive work experience in various roles related to national security law, defense, and humanitarian efforts. In 2020, they served as the Chief of National Security Law at U.S. Cyber Command and worked as an Attorney at the United States Department of Defense. Prior to that, they worked in the US Navy as a Judge Advocate starting from 2009. Their earlier experience includes working as a Special Assistant to the Director at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from 2001 to 2005.

J.C. Sylvan completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature at Columbia University from 1994 to 1997.
