William Quinn serves as the General Counsel and Solicitor for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops since March 2022. Prior roles include Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from May 2020 to March 2022, and Associate at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP from September 2017 to May 2020. Earlier experiences involve legal research consultations at the Institute for Defense Analyses and military service as a Captain and Staff Sergeant in the US Army, where responsibilities included managing a communications unit and conducting interrogations. William Quinn holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
