Marissa Eckelkamp is currently serving as a Policy Advisor for Marriage and Family at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops since July 2023 and is also a Research Fellow with the International Catholic Jurists Forum since November 2022. Previous experience includes positions as a Legal Intern at the Thomas More Society from September 2020 to May 2022, and as an Intern at both the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations from January 2021 to January 2022 and the Forum of Catholic Inspired NGOs from May 2020 to August 2020. Marissa also held leadership roles as President and Representative at the United Nations for the Intercollegiate Defense of Equality and Solidarity (IDEAS) from 2017 to 2019. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Natural Law from Ave Maria School of Law (2019-2022) and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville (2016-2019).
