Barbara Humphrey McCrabb is an experienced professional in Catholic higher education and ministry leadership. Since July 2018, McCrabb has served as a member of the Sponsor Board for Ascension Health Care, overseeing the organization’s Catholic identity. Concurrently, since March 2009, McCrabb has been the Assistant Director for Higher Education at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. McCrabb also held the position of Advisor at the Catholic Apostolate Center from November 2011 to March 2013. Previous roles include Director of Campus Ministry at Trinity Washington University and Associate Chaplain at Georgetown University. McCrabb's education includes a Master of Divinity from the Washington Theological Union, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Telecommunications and Public Relations from Kent State University.
