Keshia McElroy Mph

Public Health Program Coordinator at United South and Eastern Tribes

Keshia McElroy, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in program coordination and community health initiatives. Currently serving as the Public Health Program Coordinator at United South and Eastern Tribes since May 2019, Keshia oversees multi-million-dollar federal grants aimed at reducing chronic disease burdens in AI/AN and Tribal communities, establishes partnerships for culturally competent training, and enhances public health capacity through evidence-based programs. Previous roles include Family Support Specialist at Marion County Health Department, where Keshia provided intensive home visitation services and designed curricula for early childhood development, and research and intern positions at various health institutions, focusing on community health assessments, biometric screenings, and health education. Keshia holds a Master of Public Health from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indiana State University.
