Wes Smith holds extensive experience in the equipment rental industry, currently serving as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at United Rentals since January 2011, where responsibilities include increasing district revenue and enhancing EBITA earnings through rental sales, used equipment sales, and new customer acquisition. Prior to this role, Wes was a District Manager and District Sales Manager at the same company. Experience in business development began at RSC Equipment Rental from June 2006 to June 2011, where Wes managed the Integrated Services Division and provided sales strategies for the Mobile Tool Room Division. Earlier in the career, Wes worked as a National Sales Director at Grand View Media Group, overseeing marketing for Professional Bull Riders Magazine. Wes holds a degree in Public Relations, English, History, Communications, and Marketing from The University of Alabama, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
