Emma Young is a Public Policy Specialist at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) since June 2023, focusing on government relations and public policy development. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy and Community Relations Intern at UNOS, where responsibilities involved proofreading policy projects and stakeholder outreach, and as a Clinical Trials Intern at Cancer Trials Ireland, focusing on data management and pharmacovigilance. Emma also served as a Service Team Member for The Linking Lives Program, engaging in cultural exchange and ethical service learning, and held the position of Lifeguard Manager at Landscapes Golf Management, overseeing pool operations. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech, earned in May 2023, and an Advanced Diploma from John Handley High School, completed in May 2019.
