Dale Smith has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer at United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) since March 2020. Prior to this, they had their own consulting firm, Dale Smith Finance & Accounting Consulting, where they held the position of President starting from January 2016. Dale's career started at Ernst & Young as a Senior Accountant from August 1989 to May 1992.
Dale Smith attended James Madison University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study was Accounting and Economics. After their undergraduate studies, Dale obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA in August 1992.
