Courtney Parker is an experienced program coordinator currently serving at UNCF since April 2024. Prior to this role, Courtney worked as a legislative research assistant at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, where responsibilities included planning and organizing meetings between clients and government officials, as well as identifying federal funding opportunities. Earlier experience includes interning in government relations at Virginia Commonwealth University, where support was provided for appropriations requests and education on VCU's priorities to policymakers. Additional roles include a summer teaching assistant position in Russian language and culture at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, and internships with the Federal Housing Finance Agency and the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Courtney Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Hampton University, graduating in 2022.
